Follow these steps.
You can directly use the app but I’ll here tell you that delete any contact from your android device or Sim Card.
Then go back to the GT Recovery app & open it.

The scanning will take a little bit time but it’ll be done soon. You’ve to wait for its completion.

Once you found your deleted contacts, simply pause the scanning, select the contact & hit the Recover Selected Contact(s).
Once you done that, go back to your phone’s contact list & you’ll see there deleted contacts in the list.
